As part of keeping everyone up to date with my activities I produce regular newletters. Please click on the Newsletters below to see the issues I have been involved with.
We have a system of a directly elected Mayor and I was pleased to be re-appointed as the Cabinet Member for Community Services in May 2010. This followed a successful four term from May 2006 Steve Bullock was first elected as the Mayor in 2002 and from 2002 - 2004 I was the Cabinet Member for the Environment and from 2004 - 2006 I was the Cabinet Member for Social Inclusion.

I pleased to see the PAYG Oyster card operational at Sydenham Station and have asked Transport for London and LOROL, the new operators of Sydenham Station, to explain the difficulties with the introduction of the Oyster cards. Why are there delays in the machines to issue and update cards and why is there no reader on the main platform in the late evening which means that Oyster PAYG cards cannot be 'touched' out on completion of the journey.
