We have a system of a directly elected Mayor and I was pleased to be re-appointed as the Cabinet Member for Community Services in May 2010. This followed a successful four term from May 2006. Steve Bullock was first elected as the Mayor in 2002 and from 2002 - 2004 I was the Cabinet Member for the Environment and from 2004 - 2006 I was the Cabinet Member for Social Inclusion.
