Celebrating Sydenham traders winning Mayor's Awards
Gurkha's - best restaurant in Lewisham
It was a pleasure to be part of Gurkha's celebrations to mark the winning of the Mayor of Lewisham’s award for being the best restaurant in the borough in 2024, plus it was their 25th birthday! We were joined by the Mayors of Lewisham Brenda Dacres and Greenwich, Jit Ranabhat, Ellie Reeves MP and her sister Rachel joined us endorse the importance of high streets. The event was also attended other award-winners, like Dragonfly Yoga Studio and Ignition Brewery, plus many Sydenham businesses including Kirkdale Bookshop and Trattoria Raffaele.
